Parents Discuss Public School Access & Choice in Chicago

In January 2017, we partnered with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the Institute for Innovation in Public School Choice (IIPSC) to organize 10 parent focus groups with more than 100 CPS parents.

IIPSC released a summary report, Parents Discuss their Challenges with Public School Choice in Chicago, on April 24, 2017. The report highlighted the barriers to school access and choice within the application process for CPS and issued a set of recommendations to improve the process for families.
