I am passionate about inner healing, self-care, and building a curriculum for safety and social-emotional learning. I use my own story of domestic violence and sexual assault to speak to the identities of those in need of restoration and renewal. I served the Northwest Indiana community as a Case Manager for children who had a parent involved in domestic violence. My joy for helping children branched into my helping church ministries across Indiana and Illinois with their children's ministries.

I work to build diverse relationships in Chicago’s local communities and inform them about safety, human trafficking, and exploitation. Leaning into my strengths, I use my knowledge of social-emotional learning to enhance others’ understanding of the vulnerabilities in their communities and provide them with the knowledge to see danger and avoid it.

My heart truly beats to prevent victimization and educate future generations on how to identify the signs of grooming. By creating a curriculum based on healthy boundaries and social-emotional learning, I hope to fill the void of our youth who feel unaccepted and rejected and show them a life of dreams and possibilities. Though my role here at Kids First Chicago, their mission allows me to serve the underserved communities as well as learn how to effectively help those around me.
