Kristin Pollock is the Chief Operating Officer at Kids First Chicago (K1C), where she oversees operations, development, and external affairs, collaborating with leaders, volunteers, and staff to drive K1C’s growth and impact. Previously, she served as Chief of Development and External Affairs.
Before joining K1C in 2017, Kristin was the first Development Director at Advance Illinois, working to strengthen Illinois’ public education system. Her career in the education sector began in 2013, following over a decade in the cultural arts sector at Ravinia Festival and Shedd Aquarium.
A Chicago-area native and public school graduate, Kristin holds a B.A. in English/Visual Arts from Bowdoin College, where she remains an active alumna leader. She is Chair Emeritus of the Chicago Development Leadership Consortium and an alumna of the Policy Innovators in Education Network Leadership Institute.
