As a Policy Associate, Kendall Moore-Fields creates accessible resources and demystifies education policy in partnership with parents and district leaders with the goal of attaining high-quality education for all Chicago students.

Before joining the Kids First Chicago team, Kendall worked as a research assistant on a project focused on making district-level decision-making more democratic in a small, urban school district in Rhode Island. Additionally, she made Advanced Placement course information more accessible on high school websites while working for the Rhode Island Department of Education. Kendall believes in the transformative value of education as evidenced by her experience as a tutor, camp counselor, and after-school program teacher for students and families in Illinois and Rhode Island.

Kendall earned a B.A. in Education Studies and a Master’s in Urban Education Policy from Brown University. A dog lover, Kendall enjoys reading, trying new restaurants and bakeries, and spending time with family and friends.
