Jasmin Pizano Luna is a Policy Manager at Kids First Chicago (K1C). In this role, she works with parents and community members to better understand and navigate the education system as well as advocate and organize for changes that positively impact Chicago students and families. In her work, Jasmin is intentional about bringing awareness to the intersectionality of issues and has an equity-based approach.
A lifelong Chicagoan, Jasmin received her Masters in Public Policy and a BA in Public Policy and Spanish Language Literature from the University of Chicago. She is a Noble and CPS alumna.
Outside of work, Jasmin travels, dances, and learns about herbal medicines and different cultures. As a daughter of immigrants, Jasmin takes pride and enjoys learning about her Xicana and Mexican identity.
