Evelyn Merlos is the Operations Associate at Kids First Chicago. As part of the Operations team, she supports with operational and logistical needs across all departments, assists with onboarding, and contributes to other administrative needs.
Prior to joining K1C, Evelyn worked and volunteered at educational and community non-profit organizations for over 10 years. Most recently, she worked as a Project Coordinator for the Housing & Financial Services team at the Greater Southwest Development Corporation; she also served as Executive Assistant at High Jump.
Evelyn is a Chicago native and first-generation Latina. She graduated from DePaul University’s College of Communication with a B.A. in Public Relations & Advertising. Evelyn is a true believer that knowledge is power–the more we know, the more we can do to provide a better future for others.
