Nicholas is a Chicago kid, born and raised in Roseland, and a product of Chicago Public Schools. 

As Associate Director of Programs and School Partnerships at Kids First Chicago, he leads the development and operations of K1C's programs and serves as the primary lead for school partnerships. His leadership is human-centered and relationship-driven: a core belief that guides his work is that an informed parent is an engaged and active parent, and he sees Chicago parents as the experts on what's best for their own kids. 

He brings more than 15 years of experience across Chicago Public Schools and Noble Schools, including 10 years at Noble, where he most recently served as Assistant Director of Student Culture and Support, serving as a mentor, coach, and program developer, and earning the Excellence in Core Values award for showing up as an authentic leader in that community.

Outside of work, he's grounded by family, making sure the people closest to him have what they need to thrive. He is a mental health advocate who stays connected to the lifelong friendships that have carried him throughout his life.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master of Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, and serves as Board Vice President for Plan4Success, a nonprofit dedicated to the holistic development of African American students.
