Mohamed Sow, Community Engagement Coordinator
Mohamed Sow is a Community Engagement Coordinator for Kids First Chicago (K1C). Prior to joining K1C, he worked at the University of Chicago Urban Labs, where he supported a variety of education-focused anti-poverty research projects. He received a B.S. in Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
Mohamed spent most of his childhood in Milwaukee, but also lived on Chicago’s south side in Jeffery Manor. His passion is in combining community engagement and social science to generate inclusive, evidence-based policy. Outside of work and school, he is an aspiring novelist.
