Kristin Pollock, Chief Development Officer

Kristin Pollock is Chief Development Officer for Kids First Chicago. Previously, she served as Development Director for Advance Illinois, where she raised funds to support policy initiatives aimed at strengthening Illinois’ birth-to-career public education system. Before joining the education reform community, Kristin spent more than a decade in the Chicago cultural arts sector at Ravinia Festival and John G. Shedd Aquarium. Partnering closely with organizational leaders, volunteers, and staff, she has built strategies and successfully executed programs to grow each organization's bottom-line impact.    

Kristin is an Illinois native and graduate of Illinois public schools. She received a B.A. in English/Visual Arts from Bowdoin College and remains an active alumna of her alma mater. She is also currently Vice Chair of the Chicago Development Leadership Consortium (DLC), helping to provide professional development for rising leaders and support best-practice sharing for advancement professionals in the city’s nonprofit community.
