Category: Info Session
Join us this December for Kids First Chicago's Living Room and La Sala series as we explore the important topic of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in Chicago Public Schools. This engaging session will spotlight Kids First’s Social Emotional Learning Task Force and shed light on the essential SEL knowledge parents need to best support their children's emotional and social growth. Discover why SEL is a top priority for parents, explore what Chicago Public Schools are currently measuring in SEL, and learn about approaches other districts are taking to assess students' social and emotional development. Together, we'll discuss how we can advocate for stronger SEL practices to better support our students both inside and outside the classroom.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow parents committed to improving the well-being of Chicago's students.
