CPS Board of Education Resolution Info Session - Spanish Session

Hello from K1C, we are reaching out to offer an opportunity to voice your opinions about the most recent resolution passed by the Chicago Board of Education. At its December 2023 meeting, the Chicago Board of Education passed a resolution regarding the values and parameters for Chicago Public Schools’ (CPS’) next five-year strategic plan. The resolution was quietly crafted and added to the Board’s meeting agenda with only 48 hours notice, ensuring the exclusion of community input. Furthermore, the resolution was only in English, rendering it inaccessible to families whose primary language is not English.

We at Kids First Chicago believe our parents need to be heard. Our children’s academic trajectory is at stake and they deserve a future shaped through community, not closed doors – Take action now.
