Elected School Board (ESB) Candidate Information Session (Bilingual: English + Spanish)

In 2025 the city of Chicago will transition from a 7-member school board appointed by the mayor to a 21-member elected school board. This is an information session designed to provide general information on the requirements and process to run for an elected school board seat as well as a look into the roles and responsibilities of a school board member. Elections will take place in November of this year. Join us if you are curious or interested in running for a seat on the first ever elected school board in Chicago!
