How are public schools funded in Chicago to meet the needs of our students?

Join us on Wednesday, January 24, at 6pm via Zoom for Kids First Chicago’s third virtual meeting of the year, Living Room (English) to talk about it. This month we will discuss equitable funding. You will always have a seat in our living room!

Our hope for January's Living Room meeting is that participants will:

• Learn how the State of Illinois funds Kindergarten - 12th grade education;

• Hear firsthand accounts from families about the critical importance of fully-funding education in Chicago; and

• Leave with strategies to advocate for increased state funding for Chicago's students.
